A 1-semester course; 3 credit hours. This course is designed as a sequel to Basic Algebra I or as a first course for students who have had at least one year of high school algebra. Topics include polynomials, factoring, algebraic fractions, exponents, radicals and quadratic equations. 2 lecture hours and 2 lab hours per week. Prerequisites: C or better in MAT021 Basic Algebra I or placement from assessment exam or by permission of instructor.
